Rob Lubberink

Rob Lubberink researches and teaches on Regenerative and Redistributive Economics.

Rob Lubberink is the research lead for Regenerative Ecosystems at the Centre of Expertise on Economic Transformation. His research focuses on changing entrepreneurship ecosystems so that regenerative businesses can thrive.

As an action researcher, Rob helped to develop the Regeneration Program with Impact Hub Amsterdam. This annual program supports early-stage entrepreneurs in building resilient impact businesses. These businesses aim to restore and improve landscapes and support the communities that live in them.

A central theme in Rob’s work is connecting education, research, and entrepreneurial practice. For this reason, he co-developed and teaches in the Master’s program Economic Transformation at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS).

In the JUST ART project, Rob is project manager within the “Just Production” theme. He also co-supervises PhD candidate Leon Lapa Pereira, whose research examines the fair production of goods that people need to sustain life.
