Jaara Bijvoet

Jaara Bijvoet is a project manager at TNO, where she works on the societal dimensions of the energy transition. Her work focuses on participation, justice and the ways in which research can support better-informed decisions by policy makers, professionals, citizens and societal organisations. She manages and coordinates projects that bring together knowledge from research, policy and practice, with attention to both strategic direction and practical implementation. Jaara has experience in projects on energy poverty, public participation, just transitions and knowledge dissemination. Across these projects, she works with researchers, policymakers, practitioners and societal partners to translate complex societal and technical challenges into usable insights, collaborative processes and actionable outcomes.
